College of the North Atlantic’s (CNA) School of Academics, Applied Arts & Tourism (AAAT) consists of an exciting suite of programs all linked in the synergies that they share. These programs prepare students for employment or self-employment in specific industries and/or continuation to other post-secondary programs at CNA or partnering institutions.

What ties us together as a School is our strong belief that our greatest asset lies in the diversity of people and their talents, strengths, and interests. Along with program and discipline-specific knowledge and skills, we also focus on the importance of collaboration, communication, and creative innovation. Arts, media and design, tourism, storytelling, play, entertainment, recreation, and well-being are interwoven throughout the School’s programs and courses.

The School of AAAT embraces diverse and creative energies working together to achieve shared goals that help students learn and grow in areas they choose and enjoy!

In a world of ever-evolving technology and communications, our School prepares students for endless opportunities and possibilities in a vast array of industry sectors. 
 
Did you know? The School of AAAT graduates work with such notable employers as DC Comics, Steven Spielberg’s DreamWorks in Hollywood, California, and with United Nations in Bonn, Germany. Others are showcasing their work provincially and in places like the Canadian Embassy in Washington, DC, the Toronto Film Festival, and arts festivals in Russia, Greece, and Spain.

Online Synchronous: Delivered fully online with live, scheduled videoconference classes. The instructor and the students in the course engage with the course content and each other at the same time, from different locations.
