For business, for industry, for governments, CNA develops customized training options from a list of over 100 full-time diploma and certificate programs. We also build entirely new programs tailored to fit the training requirements of our clients.

CNA prides itself in being responsive to your needs; training can vary in duration – from a one-day session to programs of several weeks – offered anytime, anywhere. A business development officer will meet with you to determine your training requirements and then work with program development experts and other resource personnel to tailor a training program to meet those needs.

CNA responds to the economic changes in Newfoundland and Labrador, and other provinces in Canada. In order to do this successfully, the college must remain informed of industry developments, including technology changes; forecasting and matching program offerings to a constantly shifting labour market; responding to globalization and the increased competition for employees (including CNA faculty and staff); and, supporting the business community through innovation in applied research and technology adaptation.

CNA’s numerous partners, including provincial and Atlantic region employers, are telling the college its role should involve helping them plan and prepare 10 years into the future. The college has responded by creating flexible capacity to address immediate training priorities and by implementing a new structure to lead industry and community engagement.
