Christina Burke is an Instructional Assistant with the Geomatics Engineering Technology program and is a recent graduate of the College’s Geomatics Engineering Technology program. She began working with the Office of Applied Research and Innovation as a student in early 2019 and completed two work placements at the Mineral Processing Lab at the Baie Verte CNA campus. Following her graduation, Christina began working full-time at the School of Engineering Technology’s Ridge Road campus as an instructional assistant and is currently working to complete her Bachelor’s of Technology at Memorial University. She is continuing research on various projects within the provincial mining and forestry sectors and is using her unique experiences to develop collaborative research projects with local industry partners that focus on geomatics technology applications.
