NC2956   Pole Top Rescue

Course Overview:

The Pole Top Rescue training course is primary concerned with safety. In this course, proper pole top rescue procedures are discussed. Potential hazards associated with climbing methods will include lectures, labs, discussion groups and practical application. Each participant in the program will be provided with a course manual and other applicable materials. Participants will perform a pole-top rescue on a simulated electrical contact victim using a life-size mannequin. The rescue will be performed entirely by the participant following the procedure contain in this course and completed within a 4.5 minute period.

PREREQUISITES: NC1915 - Fall Protection.
