College of the North Atlantic (CNA) will be participating in the CBC annual Turkeys for Christmas Drive again this year. The turkey drive will run from Monday, November 22 until Friday, December 24 in support of local food banks. In 2009, CNA campuses generously donated over 680 turkeys for families throughout the province.

Members of the public, as well as faculty, students and staff at all 17 CNA campuses are encouraged to participate by dropping off a frozen turkey at any of the campus lobbies.

Now in its sixth year, this annual fundraiser for the Community Food Sharing Association and local food banks has become a holiday tradition throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. This year, CBC is pleased to announce the first ever Turkey Spirit Award to the organization, school or business that donates the most turkeys.

The college has established a website to follow the donation totals as the fundraiser advances.
