CNA SIFE teams win spirit awards

College of the North Atlantic SIFE teams from the Bay St. George and Clarenville campuses participating in the Advancing Canadian Entrepreneurship (ACE) Students in Free Enterprise National Exposition (SIFE) in Calgary, have won the Spirit of SIFE Awards.

The Spirit of SIFE Award recognizes teams who have not yet fully implemented their projects, but who have demonstrated their projects’ potential for significant community impact, while meeting the SIFE judging criteria.

The Bay St. George team included; Corinne Tulk of Stephenville, Matt Ford of Baie Verte, Jeffery O’Quinn of Searston and team coach, Business Administration instructor, Lori MacIsaac.

Team Clarenville included; David Alexander of St. John’s, Patty Cave of Clarenville, Shawn Collins of Jamestown, Melissa Sperins of Hillview and team coaches, Business Marketing instructor, Paul Tilley and Business Administration instructor, Deidra Strowbridge.

With the SIFE exposition coming to a successful close, both teams will be returning home today with their prestigious awards.
