Minister of State in the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, Andrew Gallimore signs the Memorandum of Understanding with College of the North Atlantic. Waiting to affix her signature to the document is CNA Vice-President of Development and College Advancement, Corinne Dunne.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed with the Jamaican government could see College of the North Atlantic (CNA) soon welcoming international students to its campuses to study in a wide range of program areas.

The MOU was signed in Jamaica last week by CNA Vice-President of Development and College Advancement, Corinne Dunne, and the Minister of State in the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, Andrew Gallimore.

“This agreement builds on a long trade history between our province and the country of Jamaica,” said Dunne. “In partnering with the Government of Jamaica for the next five years the college is committed to helping the nation establish a solid investment in their country’s most important resource, its people.

“We have yet to finalize the particulars of the agreement, but the college feels this is a relationship that is positive for both parties. With this program, our partners will receive a number of workplace ready graduates. That in itself showcases the training capabilities of our college.”

The college develops customized training options for businesses, industry, and governments, from a list of over 100 full-time diploma and certificate programs and a comprehensive range of 300 part-time courses. It can also build entirely new programs tailored to fit the training requirements of our clients.

CNA prides itself in responsiveness to their clients’ needs. Training can vary in duration – from a one-day session to programs of several weeks – offered anytime, anywhere.
