CNA-Q website receives international acclaim

Doha, Qatar - College of the North Atlantic – Qatar (CNA-Q) has been awarded a prestigious international award of Outstanding Achievement for its newly developed website by the Interactive Media Awards (IMA) committee.
College of the North Atlantic’s Middle East campus received 466 points out of a possible 500 in the five criteria of the college category; design, content, feature functionality, usability and standards compliance.
"We are pleased to receive this award from IMA," said Dr. Harald Jorch, President, CNA-Q. "When creating the new website, we strove to ensure our site was as user-friendly as possible while still delivering the information necessary. It is a key component in our new marketing strategy. This award is a testament to our success."
CNA-Q`s website was launched in 2008, an initiative that was spearheaded by Mark English, Business Development Specialist and Dana Zammo, Website Developer at CNA-Q. The website re-design was administered by the Marketing & Public Relations department, which is led by Monica Kennedy.
The Interactive Media Awards have been held every year since 2006, recognizing excellence in website design and development. Only 12 awards have been awarded to date in the college category from entrants around the world.
Websites with a score between 460 and 479 receive the Outstanding Achievement Award, while websites with a score between 480 and 500 receive the Best in Class Award. IMA judges are leaders in web design and advertising from companies such as; American Express, Microsoft and The New York Times. Past award recipients include companies such as Disney, Porsche and Starbucks.
