College of the North Atlantic (CNA) is thrilled to launch the third season of its award-winning Best in the Biz podcast, offering listeners insider tips and tricks for business success from some of the province’s most accomplished entrepreneurs.

Best in the Biz is raising the bar this season with an exciting partnership with the Newfoundland and Labrador Organization of Women Entrepreneurs (NLOWE). This collaboration puts the spotlight on the province’s trailblazing women entrepreneurs, offering listeners unparalleled access to the insights, strategies, and success stories that drive these industry leaders forward.

“We’re reliving the excitement of the NLOWE conference throughout this season, capturing the energy and expertise shared by women industry leaders in our province,” said host Ian MacDonald, CNA’s Business Development Officer – Entrepreneurship. “Listeners will not only gain great advice on running a business but also hear firsthand the challenges and triumphs of these inspiring entrepreneurs. Whether you’re an aspiring entrepreneur or simply interested in the stories of those making a mark in the business world, Best in the Biz is a must-listen.”

NLOWE CEO Carolyn Wakeham is equally enthusiastic.

“NLOWE is the only provincial organization in Newfoundland and Labrador dedicated exclusively to women entrepreneurs,” Wakeham said. “NLOWE is proud to partner with CNA on this season of the Best in the Biz podcast to showcase the entrepreneurial journey of and share the stories of the innovative women entrepreneurs in this province.”

The first two episodes are available now, featuring engaging conversations with successful entrepreneurs who share their journey, skills, and what it takes to thrive in today’s business landscape.

Episode 1 features Olivia Crane, owner and founder of Amplified Social. She never wanted to be an entrepreneur, planning instead to work herself up the corporate ladder. But all that changed with one exciting opportunity and now she’s helping hundreds of other entrepreneurs achieve their goals.

Episode 2 is a double feature, beginning with Sidra Anwar, co-founder of MetaCrust Services, a company  working to deliver energy-efficient security solutions that maximize battery life, conserve memory, and ensure uncompromised functionality for every low-powered medical device. Then hear from Sarah Whalen, owner of Purely Radiant Salon and Cria Boutique, and learn how she is successfully bringing the latest in beauty, personal care and home decor to her picturesque, rural region of the province.
