As our President Liz Kidd has stated, these are two incredibly important words contained in a three-part strategy at CNA. Each carries a tremendous amount of responsibility when it comes to ensuring the people who work and study in our facilities throughout Newfoundland and Labrador feel like they can freely be who they are. In a world that’s packed with uncertainty, CNA wants to create a positive direction when it comes to the many and varied groups represented within our organization. One way we can create an inclusive and positive environment on all of our campuses is through shared cultures and conversations.

Culture and Conversation is a student centered initiative that focuses on bringing domestic and international students together both virtually and in person to converse with and learn from each other. This new initiative will take place once a month on each campus. For one hour each month students will meet to discuss anything and everything. Worried about what you will talk about? We’ve got you covered. Students will be given a Culture and Conversation handbook that contains prompting questions for each month! These informal group and one on one conversations are an opportunity to share pieces of your culture while learning about other’s!
