2018 Feed NL Turkey Drive

We have
It’s Turkey Time at College of the North Atlantic!

All CNA campuses across Newfoundland and Labrador will begin collecting turkeys on Tuesday, November 13 in support of CBC Feed NL Day, which is slated for Friday, December 14, and in aid of the province’s food banks.

To help with this initiative, CNA will launch its Feed NL Turkey Drive Tuesday, Nov. 13, and it will run until Thursday, Dec. 13.  This month-long period will ensure the maximum opportunity for CNA students and employees to participate in this worthy cause.

The CNA community will still be able to make monetary donations and/or drop off non-perishable food items at their respective campuses; however, our main promotion will be around the collection of turkeys.

All proceeds from this drive will stay in the local communities where they are collected. The public, as well as faculty, students and staff at all 17 CNA campuses are encouraged to participate by dropping off a frozen turkey at any of the campus lobbies. Cash is also accepted, with each $25 donation representing the equivalent of one turkey.

Turkey War Challenges!

We are also bringing back Turkey Wars, which will again be hosted on our website.

Challenge a campus, class, student, department, program or college employee to see who can donate the most turkeys in aid of CBC Feed NL Day.

We will update this page on a regular basis throughout the course of this event. Check back to see if more challenges have been posted! You never know when you will be it!
