Current students and those who have recently graduated have the opportunity to meet with an Immigration Program Development Officer from the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism (OIM). Student calls are facilitated through an online video platform. Students have the opportunity to ask questions about Newfoundland and Labrador’s economic immigration programs, learn more about the process to Permanent Residency (PR), and ask questions related to their personal circumstances. Immigration Program Development Officers will share information, helpful links, and resources so that students can feel better informed about the Provincially supported PR pathways available to them. College of the North Atlantic, in partnership with the Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Immigration, Population Growth and Skills are pleased to inform you that each Wednesday morning you can register for a 30-minute virtual one-on-one sessions with an Immigration Program Development Officer. To book an appointment click here. You will have to provide your name, email address and phont number in order to book an appointment. Bookings are only available two weeks in advance. After you have booked an appointment, you will receive an email with an attachment to put it in your Microsoft Outlook calendar. About Online Asynchronous Deliveries

Online Aynchronous offerings of our programs are delivered fully online with no scheduled classes, and allow students to learn on their own schedule, in a flexible environment, within a certain time frame.

Our online learning environment provides flexibility as well as ample opportunities to collaborate and interact with instructors and other students. Our friendly, responsive Distributed Learning Team is dedicated to establishing and maintaining high standards of academic quality and service that you can rely on. All of our online courses carry the same credentials and academic standards as their classroom equivalents. Our Help Desk operates extended hours seven days per week and provides a toll free number as well as an online chat service to ensure that you are supported throughout the duration of your course or program.

Hi there, and welcome to College of the North Atlantic’s Online Asynchronous Deliveries! My name is Tracy Holloway, and I am your Student Development Officer (SDO). I am so excited to welcome you, and I look forward to supporting you throughout your time at CNA!

As SDO I am part of your Student Services Team which also includes Admissions Officers and Clerks, Guidance Counsellor, Accessibility Services Coordinators, Help Desk personnel, Service Coordinator, and Storekeeper. Any time you have a question or are looking for resources, never hesitate to reach out. We are here for you, and it is our goal to help you succeed.

While your study space may look a little different than a classroom on campus, I want to assure you that you are very much a part of the CNA Community!
