Words from your Host

Hello!

Welcome to College of the North Atlantic, Baie Verte Campus! My name is Scott Furey, I’m your Student Development Officer (SDO) for Baie Verte. As SDO I am part of your Student Services Team which includes the Admissions Officer, Accessibility Services Coordinator, Computer Support Specialist, Guidance Counsellor, and Storekeeper. If you need help with anything, not sure who to talk to, or need any advice at all please let me know and I will help you.

The most difficult part of any journey is that first step, because it means you made up your mind and you are moving forward! Whether your coming straight out of high school or returning to school after 30 years - Know that we are here to help and support you, especially this year as it is a year like no other. This semester at our campuses may look a little different than in previous years as many of you may not see each other in person for the next little while. However, we are hard at work to ensure that your experience is just as memorable and unique if not more so then any other year. We are excited for you to study at our campus and to see all our community has to offer.

On behalf of all the Baie Verte Campus family, I thank you for choosing the college and look forward to making this year, one you will remember for the rest of your life!

Your host
