College of the North Atlantic has three regulated demonstration child care centres providing early learning programs and services to children 6 months to 5 years, 9 months:

Fisher Children’s Centre is located in the Corner Brook campus;

College of the North Atlantic Child Care Centre is located in the family residence of the Happy Valley-Goose Bay campus;

and College of the North Atlantic Children’s Centre is located within walking distance of the Prince Philip Drive campus.
Note: The St. Anthony campus also has a child care centre that is privately owned, external to CNA, which is on site.
The primary objectives of the CNA demonstration child care centres are as follows:

To provide quality early learning and child care services for all children with emphasis on enhancing their physical, emotional, cognitive, social, creative, and language development. Our Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) have education, training and experience in Early Childhood Education. On a daily basis, ECEs plan developmentally appropriate activities, giving the utmost consideration to the individual needs and interests of all the children.

To provide a learning environment for students completing either a one-year Certificate or a two-year Diploma of Applied Arts in Early Childhood Education. Students will observe and engage directly with children to complete both course work and field placements under the direct supervision of our ECEs.
