Michael Loder has dedicated much of his professional career to the healthcare technology industry while embodying the spirit of a lifelong entrepreneur. With over 15 years of experience, Michael has achieved significant success and currently serves as the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Biolantic Services Inc.
Michael’s educational journey began with the completion of the Biomedical Engineering Technology program at College of the North Atlantic's Ridge Road Campus in 2005. Among his many professional achievements, Michael has been chosen for two consecutive years to represent Canada as a member of the delegation for the Young Entrepreneur Alliance (YEA) G20 Summit. This summit brings together young entrepreneurs from around the world to form a communiqué presented to global leaders at the G20 Summit. Michael’s entrepreneurial spirit and dedication have driven significant advancements in his field.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Michael is deeply committed to the biomedical and entrepreneurial communities. He has served as a mentor with Futurpreneur Canada and is an active member of the Biomedical Engineering Technology Program Advisory Committee at CNA, which ensures the program continues to meet industry needs. Michael’s contributions have earned him numerous awards, including recognition within the private medical industry for exceptional service, accolades as a member of the Young Entrepreneur Alliance G20 delegation, and honors as a young entrepreneur through youth ventures programs.
Currently residing in Conception Bay South, Michael enjoys a fulfilling personal life with his wife, Courtney, and their daughters, Rebel and Zoey. He maintains a close connection to his roots in St. Anthony, where he runs a successful business, Rebel Coffee House, with his parents, Colleen and Allen. With the strong support of the team at Biolantic, friends, and family, Michael looks forward to pursuing further entrepreneurial endeavors in the future.
