Jacob Manning has quickly established himself as a leading digital political strategist in Canada, contributing to campaigns across Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Ontario. As Manager of Creative Production at the Nova Scotia Premier’s Office, Jacob ensures high-quality, consistent creative outputs that align with government priorities. His innovative approach to digital media has reached millions, solidifying his reputation in political communication.
A 2018 graduate of College of the North Atlantic's Graphic Design program, Jacob began his career as a Media Specialist for D-Camps, where he captured compelling stories of youth living with type 1 diabetes. His work extended beyond media creation, actively supporting Diabetes Canada’s programs and events. Jacob’s dedication to service is further highlighted by his involvement with Skills Canada. In 2015, he competed and achieved a provincial gold medal and a national silver medal. He also extended his efforts with volunteering and mentoring young talent in graphic design and media.
In addition to his professional roles, Jacob passionately supports community causes, including Nevaeh’s Angel Foundation and the Keith Keating Memorial Tournament, Atlantic Canada’s largest basketball event raising significant funds for cancer care. His contributions include digital storytelling, social media promotion, and event support, showcasing his commitment to giving back.
Through his work in the Premier’s Office, Jacob has led impactful video productions and marketing campaigns, including healthcare-focused advertising pivotal in Premier Tim Houston’s electoral success. Despite his demanding role, Jacob continues to volunteer his skills across Newfoundland and Labrador and Atlantic Canada, making him a deserving recipient of the Young Alumni Award.
