Salary Information

HL19 - $67,358.00 - $87,565.85 per annum

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and support the functional operation of the PeopleSoft HRMS, ensuring system efficiency and accuracy. 
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on HRMS modules including payroll, benefits, time and labour, and workforce administration. 
  • Lead and coordinate HRIS projects, including system upgrades, enhancements, and new functionality implementation. 
  • Analyze business needs, identify system improvements, and recommend effective solutions aligned with operational requirements. 
  • Troubleshoot system issues, monitor performance, and ensure data integrity, security, and compliance. 
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, test scripts, and business processes. 
  • Provide training, support, and ongoing guidance to HR, payroll, and system users across the organization. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integration and continuous improvement initiatives. 
  • Conduct audits, reporting, and data analysis to support decision-making and ensure compliance with policies and legislation. 
  • Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to deliver effective HRMS solutions.
  • Other related duties as required.

Screening Criteria

  • Degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience working with PeopleSoft Human Resource Management System (HRMS) or a similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Experience in system analysis, troubleshooting, and process improvement.
  • Experience providing training, guidance, and support to system users across an organization.
  • Project coordination or project management experience, particularly with system implementations or upgrades.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Assessment Criteria

  • Knowledge of HRMS/ERP systems, information management systems, and reporting or data analysis tools.
  • Ability to interpret relevant legislation, policies, procedures and collective agreements impacting HR and payroll. 
  • Ability to provide training and support to system users.
  • Ability to effectively exchange information.
  • Ability to think critically.
  • Ability to manage time and tasks.
  • Collaboration and relationship building skills.
  • Professionalism.
