Salary Information

CG27 - $25.99 - $28.74 per hour. 

Duties and Responsibilities

The Clerk IV provides essential clerical and administrative front-line support to the College of the North Atlantic's Baie Verte Campus. The wide range of duties that ensure efficient campus operations and excellent service delivery include:

  • Serving as the initial point of contact for students, staff, and the general public by providing front-line reception services; respond to inquiries in person, by telephone, and via email, and appropriately direct requests to the relevant department.
  • Administering and maintaining student accounts, including processing assessments, adjustments, and de-assessments. 
  • Processing student applications from initial receipt through to decision, including verification of documentation, eligibility assessment, and status updates.  
  • Entering, updating, and managing applicant and student data within the PeopleSoft admissions module.
  • Managing student registration activities, including course enrollment, withdrawals, and program changes.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date student records for assigned programs. 
  • Providing detailed registration information and guidance to current students and advanced standing applicants in advance of registration periods.
  • Performing all functions within the PeopleSoft system related to student admissions and registration.
  • Inputting, tracking, and reconciling instructor timesheets related to Customized and Continuous Learning. 
  • Assisting in the coordination and delivery of registration, graduation ceremonies, awards events, and other student-related activities.
  • Performing other related administrative duties as required to support the effective operation of the Campus.

Screening Criteria

  • Diploma in Office Administration (equivalencies will be considered). 
  • Recent, relevant experience in delivering front-line administrative and clerical support services.

  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
