Salary Information
CG28 - $48,994.40 - $54,236.00 per annum.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for job seekers, employers, and the public, providing assistance and information related to services offered by the Employment Resource Centre in St. John's.
- Handle administrative tasks, including managing office supplies, responding to calls, emails, and in-person inquiries, and maintaining a welcoming and professional environment for clients and visitors of the Employment Resource Centre.
- Assess individuals to determine preliminary eligibility and identify the appropriate level of service.
- Provide information on job search resources, employment programs, and training opportunities.
- Assist clients in utilizing self-service tools, including job boards, computers, and application forms.
- Research, update, and maintain labour market information using various sources to ensure current data is available for the Employment Resource Centre.
- Manage and maintain files, records, and reports efficiently, ensuring compliance with ATIPPA regulations.
- Perform other duties as required to support the efficient operation of the Employment Resource Centre.

Screening Criteria
- Diploma in Office, or Business Administration (equivalencies will be considered).
- Experience in a similar administrative role providing front-line services.
Assessment Criteria

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Conditions of Acceptance
- The successful candidate will be required to work on-site at our St. John's East (Stavanger Drive) office, as remote work is not available at this time.
