Salary Information
CG24 - $42,442.40 - $46,737.60 per annum.
Duties and Responsibilities
- The successful incumbent will maintain and oversee the daily inventory of supplies needed for daily departmental usage at the College of the North Atlantic’s online bookstore located at the Prince Philip Drive Campus.
- The incumbent will receive materials and supplies following established accounting procedures, provide quality procurement support and maintain records of fixed assets, and all required inventory reports.
- Receives goods from suppliers and enters into inventory (i.e. inspects goods received, matches packing slip with invoice, inventories items as required, etc).
- Performs physical inventory checks as required.
- Maintains a safe work environment for employees, vendors.
- Utilize PeopleSoft and follow-up on outstanding purchase orders.
- Providing mail room services.
- Scheduling courier service for all departments.
- Ordering, receiving, stocking and shipping of textbooks for various CNA programs.
- Other clerical duties as assigned.
Screening Criteria
- High School Diploma supplemented by post-secondary coursework in accounting through an Office Administration or Business program (equivalencies will be considered).
- Work experience in receiving, stocking and shipping supplies.
- Experience with computerized inventory control.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite computer applications, in particular Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Forklift licence.

Conditions of Offer
- When requested by the Employer, a recent and satisfactory Certificate of Conduct must be provided.

Conditions of Acceptance
- Willing to accept a physically demanding position.
- Acknowledges the requirement for lifting and moving objects weighting up to 50 lbs.
- Physical effort includes unloading goods/materials by hand and/or with the assistant of pallet jacks and forklifts; lifting, pushing, pulling and moving supplies while maintaining stock shelves.
