Salary Information
NUNM27 - $47,301.80 - $52,306.80 per annum.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Administer various employment transactions within the HRIS system, including onboarding new hires, processing position and personnel changes, and managing salary or pay adjustments.
- Generate and analyze HRIS reports to ensure the accuracy and integrity of employee data.
- Process employee terminations in accordance with established procedures.
- Manage all aspects of pension administration, including eligibility determination, enrollment, termination, retirement estimates, purchase and transfer of service, and processing of pension refunds.
- Administer Canada Life benefit plans by determining eligibility, processing enrollments, terminations, life changes, and claims.
- Calculate service time and compile/maintain multiple seniority lists to ensure accurate recordkeeping and compliance.
- Meet strict deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and compliance with human resources policies, procedures, and collective agreements, exercising a high level of confidentiality.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- This position is excluded from the bargaining unit.
Screening Criteria
- Successful completion of a Diploma in Business Administration or related field (equivalencies will be considered).
- Recent and related experience in human resources.
- Experience with human resource information systems (HRIS) (asset).
