Salary Information

HL25 - $86,470.00 - $112,410.59 per annum

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leads and oversees the implementation, delivery, evaluation, and quality assurance of academic programs.
  • Manages operational and administrative services for designated programs and CCL.
  • Reviews program logistics, resources, hiring, and budgets for CCL programs.
  • Aligns campus activities with College's strategic objectives, ensuring academic and operational effectiveness.
  • Collaborates with the Leadership Team to assess and set campus priorities based on enrolment, trends, and stakeholder input.
  • Ensures effective program delivery, faculty retention, and compliance with accreditation standards.
  • Oversees support services, facilities, and resources to ensure smooth program operation and staff performance.
  • Reviews campus performance, manages resources, and adjusts strategies to meet defined goals.
  • Represents the College in the community, promoting its values and building local relationships.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with external stakeholders to address emerging needs and support student engagement.
  • Collaborates with Deans and industries to develop programs that address regional labor needs and secure funding opportunities.
  • Contributes to program design and strategic planning, ensuring relevance through program reviews and advisory committees.
  • Monitors and ensures the accreditation process for campus programs.
  • Leads initiatives and projects to improve program delivery, operational effectiveness, and student support.

Screening Criteria

  • Post-secondary degree in public or business administration with relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of the post-secondary environment, including a wide range of academic programs and essential facilities such as libraries, and childcare.
  • Proven expertise in driving the implementation of strategic goals, leading academic planning, and overseeing program development and evaluation processes to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Experience in business planning, resource management, risk management, and continuity practices, ensuring efficient and effective management of facilities and building operations.

  • Operational and Administrative Expertise: Ability to understand and apply policies & processes to optimize efficiency and ensure smooth program delivery across academic and support services.
  • Visionary Leadership and Innovation: Ability to align organizational efforts with strategic goals, driving improvement and inspiring change.
  • Academic Programming Management: Skilled in overseeing the planning, execution, and evaluation of programs to ensure quality education and support services.
  • Crisis Management and Student Support: Proficient in emergency response and implementing student support services during crises to ensure well-being and continuity.
  • Guidance and Conflict Resolution: Capable of addressing student and employee issues, providing clear direction, and fostering a productive environment.
  • Community Engagement and Marketing: Ability to build partnerships and driving initiatives that promote the College’s brand and community involvement.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Ability to maintain strong relationships with external partners to support institutional goals.
  • Program Development and Innovation: Expertise in developing and innovating programs to meet the evolving needs of students and the job market.
  • Strategic Planning and Accreditation: Ability to contribute to strategic planning and accreditation processes, ensuring alignment and compliance with standards.
  • Organizational Leadership and Decision-Making: Skilled in providing leadership to drive effective decision-making and optimize resource management.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Ability to engage with students, faculty, staff, and stakeholders to foster collaboration and a supportive environment.
