Salary Information
CG24 - $41,605.20 - $45,827.60 per annum.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive materials and supplies while adhering to proper accounting and inventory control procedures.
- Process goods received in PeopleSoft, track outstanding purchase orders, and follow up as needed.
- Provide efficient mail room services, including sorting and distributing mail and scheduling courier services.
- Maintain accurate records of fixed assets and inventory, ensuring proper tracking of purchases, movements, and disposals.
- Physically handle deliveries, including unloading and loading goods from tractor trailers, and ensure secure transport across campus.
- Conduct light maintenance tasks such as assembling furniture and assisting with minor repairs.
- Safely transport staff and students to various sites as required.
- Perform other related duties to support the operational needs of the campus, when required.
Screening Criteria
- Certificate in Office, or Business, Administration (equivalencies will be considered).
- Recent experience in a similar role in receiving and inventory control.
Assessment Criteria
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft (asset).
- Organizational/time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Communication skills.
Conditions of Offer
- When requested by the Employer, a recent and satisfactory Certificate of Conduct must be provided.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving staff and students to designated locations.
Conditions of Acceptance
- May require some physical demands. Some lifting and transporting of goods may be required.
