About Us

Welcome to College of the North Atlantic’s (CNA) Office of Applied Research and Innovation (OARI)! Our office serves as CNA’s main point of contact for industry, community groups and government interested in applied research collaborations that support the development and growth of our industries and communities throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.

CNA is a comprehensive institution that serves and supports the entire province. Through our Reality Capture and Digitization capabilities and Technology Access Centre networks, we focus available research infrastructure, knowledge and expertise to meet the needs of industry and communities. We support NL companies, especially SMEs, in multiple sectors, particularly those challenged with new technology adoption and integration.

Within the institutional EDI framework, OARI is committed to challenging and supporting our research stakeholders (researchers, students, employees, participants and partners) to develop the competence and resilience needed to address individual and collective issues contributing to inequality.
