Research Data Management

This RDM Strategy established by CNA promotes the management of research data and develops capacity to support researchers in adopting responsible RDM practices as required by the Tri-Agency. Further, the purpose of College of the North Atlantic’s research data management (RDM) practice is to ensure that research data is collected and stored in a consistent manner and that RDM practices at CNA meet the Tri-Agency’s research data management requirements. This practice is evolving to meet the unique requirements of research at CNA.

Genomics in Mining Program

This program provides project-based funding for companies undertaking genomics-related research and development, products, or services. Preference is given to Atlantic Canadian companies serving this region, with applications assessed on an individual basis.

Projects may explore areas where genomics could provide value, connect a company or organization with genomics expertise, support development of a research and development roadmap, trial ideas, prove concepts, or facilitate technology interpretation.

This program offers up to $10,000 for Mining Innovation Commercialization Accelerator (MICA) members, or $5,000 for non-members, with co-funding required for higher requests. It is supported by MICA, Genome Atlantic, and College of the North Atlantic.
