This intensive, hands-on course covers fundamental aspects of two-dimensional computer-aided drafting and design with the latest version of AutoCAD. Topics covered include file management, as well as the viewing, drawing, editing, and plotting of orthographic drawings. Students should have some background in AutoCAD. This course is designed to give the student an introduction to computer systems. Particular emphasis is given to word processing, spreadsheet, e-mail and the Internet and security issues. Upon successful completion of this course, students will have a basic knowledge and comfort level with computers.
