CNA campuses join CBC Turkey Drive

All campuses of College of the North Atlantic (CNA) will once again serve as collection points for the annual CBC Turkeys for Christmas Drive. This year’s drive runs from Monday, November 26 until Friday, December 21 in support of local food banks.
In 2011, CNA campuses collected 784 turkeys for families throughout the province.

Members of the public, as well as faculty, students and staff at all 17 CNA campuses are encouraged to participate by dropping off a frozen turkey at any of the campus lobbies. Cash is also accepted, with each $25 donation representing one turkey.

Now in its seventh year, this annual fundraiser for the Community Food Sharing Association and local food banks has become a holiday tradition throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. The college has established a website to follow the donation totals as the fundraiser advances.

For more information about the CBC Turkeys for Christmas Drive, or to donate online, visit the CBC website. To watch CNA’s progress in the drive, check out our Turkey Tally.
