Mitten Tree warms hands and hearts

Students and staff at College of the North Atlantic’s Headquarters and Bay St. George campus celebrated the season of giving with a Holiday Mitten Tree, which they decorated with mittens, gloves and hats for needy children of the Bay St. George area. Kim Blanchard, marketing assistant, (left) and Darlene Oake, campus administrator for Bay St. George campus, pack the items for delivery to the Salvation Army, which will distribute them over the holiday season.
