Textiles student wins national competition

Courtney Loveless models Rebecca Edwards’ award winning dress “Undefeated.”

Congratulations to College of the North Atlantic student Rebecca Edwards who won first place in the costumes category of Fabricville’s national “I Love Fashion” contest.

Rebecca’s dress “Undefeated” was designed for an assignment in her Textiles: Craft and Apparel Design program, which required students to create a garment inspired by the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright.

Rebecca’s prize, worth $1,250 was a sewing machine and a Fabricville gift certificate, which she can use to create more stunning designs!
