Community Recreation Leadership I students at PPD presented the proceeds from their Walk for R.E.A.L. to representatives of the St. John’s R.E.A.L. program.

Community Recreation Leadership I students at the Prince Philip Drive campus raised $1,570 in support of the St. John’s Recreation Experiences and Leisure (R.E.A.L.) program.

As part of their Program Planning course they held a Walk for R.E.A.L. event in October 2010.

The R.E.A.L. program matches children and youth up to the age of 18 with organized, registered recreational activities of their choice, and removes financial barriers that prevent them from participating.
