CNA postponing College Day events due to H1N1

Due to growing public concerns surrounding the H1N1 pandemic, College of the North Atlantic has decided to postpone its annual College Day events scheduled for Nov. 5.
The annual daytime event showcases the programs and services offered at CNA campuses throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. A number of events were scheduled including campus tours, program demonstrations, presentations, trivia games, displays and prize giveaways. The college feels it is best to postpone the event, which would see over 3,000 students and members of the public visit the 17 campuses locations throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.
The college doesn’t feel the postponement will negatively impact the momentum generated through previous College Day events, which has seen its numbers grow significantly over the previous five events.
