Doha, Qatar – Ten teams of students competed in the fourth annual College of the North Atlantic – Qatar Business Case Competition at the college’s international campus in the Middle East State of Qatar on November 9 and 10.

The competition has teams of four students and one faculty advisor analyze a case and present their ideas and solutions to a panel of judges. After three rounds of presentations and judging, the final case was presented by the remaining teams, CNA-Q Solutions and Al Faris.

Segway Human Transporter: More Than a Cool Invention proved to be the winning case for CNA-Q Solutions, who demonstrated strong skills in organization, presentation, team building as well as critical thinking abilities.

CNA-Q Solutions team members Abdur Rahman Shamsi, Mariam Abo el-Khir, Sara Aneitalli and Bejoy Chacko were awarded certificates of achievement, gift certificates and USB keys by CNA-Q President, Dr. Harald Jorch.

The CNA-Q Business Case Competition is the first of two events held at CNA-Q each year. From March 13-15, 2009, students from around the Gulf Cooperation Council (and for the first time, Canada) will compete in the CNA-Q International Business Case Competition.
