The deadline is drawing near for the 2008 ICE Awards Student Creative Competition.
The ICE Awards, organized by a diverse group of Atlantic Canadian advertising and marketing professionals, celebrates creative advertising made by people in Atlantic Canada.
The student competition is open to all full-time students attending a post-secondary institution in Atlantic Canada majoring in: advertising, marketing, graphic design, public relations, media studies, communications, multimedia, interactive or a related program. This includes 2008 graduates.
The competition challenges students to create an advertising campaign that includes one or multiple media of your choice including a print ad, billboard, interactive, Youtube style video, TV, radio, etc.
All entries will be judged by industry professionals and the winner will receive a four week paid internship at Revolve, Atlantic Canada’s leading branding agency in Bedford, Nova Scotia, or a cash award of $2,500.
Last year Katherine Hann, a student of College of the North Atlantic’s Graphic Print and Production program at the Prince Philip Drive campus in St. John’s, walked away with gold in the student competition.
The contest is free to enter and the deadline is Aug. 8. For more information check out the ICE Awards website at http://www.iceawards.com.
