The Personal Care Attendant program at College of the North Atlantic’s (CNA) Bay St. George campus held its first graduation on February 27. Nine students graduated and already have employment prospects.

“The program has been incredibly successful with an employment rate close to 100 per cent ,” says Business Development Officer Deborah Reid.

“Representatives from the industry are so pleased with our program and graduates that they have requested us to run another course as soon as possible, as they want to hire more of our graduates,” she says.

The program is part of CNA’s customized training offerings, catering to the needs of industry in Newfoundland and Labrador.
