With the annual meeting alternating between Newfoundland and Labrador and the State of Qatar, this marks the third time the delegation will be hosted by the province. Also taking part in the meetings will be members of College of the North Atlantic’s Board of Governors: Mr. Alfred Goss, chair; Ms. Jean Madill, president of CNA; Ms. Andrea Marshall; Board of Governors and Mr. Alan MacKinnon, Board of Governors.

CNA is currently in its sixth year of a 10-year comprehensive agreement with the State of Qatar. Currently, there are over 500 Canadian employees working at CNA-Qatar (over 200 Newfoundlanders and Labradorians) with some 2,200 students studying CNA’s world-class curriculum.

The JOB was established pursuant to the Comprehensive Agreement between the State of Qatar and CNA and it provides oversight and direction to College of the North Atlantic-Qatar (CNA-Q).

Both CNA and the State of Qatar have benefited from a very successful partnership as the college has established itself as the premier technical institute in the state. Currently there are some 40-plus positions available at the CNA-Q campus in a number of professional areas including: instruction, support staff, information technology and management, as the campus continues to expand.
