Hockey Day in Canada Jersey Contest winners from left, Daniel, Carol Ann and Jonathon Kelloway. The boys, team members of the Mount Pearl Pee Wee “B” Allstars, stopped by on the way to practice to pick up the jersey, which went with them to the stadium.

Carol Ann Kelloway of Mount Pearl is the winner of College of the North Atlantic's (CNA) Hockey Day in Canada Jersey Draw. The hockey mom of three boys entered the contest on the college's website in the hopes she would win the item to add to her family's hockey memorabilia, which includes an autographed Rocket Richard print, St. John’s Maple Leafs 10th Anniversary commemorative tickets, and a variety of hockey figurines and other items.

"We are thrilled. The jersey will hang in its place of honour in our hockey room, of course, after everyone has had a chance to try it on,” laughs Kelloway.

The jersey – an authentic Hockey Day in Canada sweater – was one of two CNA had signed by hockey personalities Ron MacLean and Don Cherry when they were in Stephenville for the Hockey Day in Canada celebrations last year.

Kelloway correctly answered a short quiz about CNA. She was one of over 100 entrants from throughout North America.
