Skills Canada Competitions being web-cast all week

April 28, 2003 - The 2003 Provincial Skills Canada competitions will take place all this week beginning Tuesday, April 29 and continuing on until Friday, May 2 from the Prince Philip Drive campus of College of the North Atlantic in St. John’s.
Members of the general public are invited to drop by and view the competitions, however if do not live in the St. John’s area you can still watch the competitions via the Internet as the college will be web-casting the events.
Beginning at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, the National Manufacturing Team Challenge competition will be broadcast live over the Internet. On Friday, May 2, competitions will begin at 9 a.m. and continue until 4 p.m. Competitions scheduled for Friday include Autoservice/Autobody, Graphic Design/TV Video, Computer Animation, IT PC Network Support, Robotics, National Manufacturing Team Challenge Worksite Safety, Welding, and finally the judging of the Culinary Arts/Baking entries. The awards ceremony and medal presentation will begin at 6 p.m.
