Nominations are now open for College of the North Atlantic’s (CNA) prestigious Alumni Acclaim Awards. These awards honour CNA graduates whose outstanding achievements and enduring contributions continue to make an impact in their professional fields and communities.
“The 2024 Alumni Acclaim Awards are our opportunity to recognize the profound and positive impact our graduates continue to make,” said Heidi Staeben-Simmons, Associate Vice President of Public Affairs and Advancement.
She encourages alumni to apply, adding, “Your legacy deserves recognition. The Alumni Acclaim Awards are your opportunity to showcase your excellence in your field and how you stand out for your dedication, innovation, and impact.”
Nominations are now being accepted in the four award categories:
Young Alumni Award
This award recognizes the outstanding accomplishments of a recent graduate who has made a significant impact on their profession and/or their community and society.
(Applicants must be 35 years or younger to be considered for this award.)
Community Service Award
This award expresses appreciation for an alumnus who has truly changed their community for the better through their tireless volunteer work.
Innovation Award
This award recognizes alumni or a collaborative team (must consist of at least one CNA alumni member) that have made a significant impact in their profession or community by developing or implementing an innovative initiative, product, or process. Innovation Award nominees should encourage innovation by fostering positive change and social impact while bringing a creative idea to life
.
Distinguished Alumni Award
This award showcases the outstanding accomplishments of alumni who have made a significant impact in their professional lives and/or outstanding service to their community and society.
