Dennis GM/GM Canada donates 18 engines to CNA Automotive programs.

May 31, 2004 – Dennis GM, in association with GM Canada, has donated 18 new engines to College of the North Atlantic for use in its Automotive Service Technician (AST) program at its Bay St. George campus. The engines, valued at $90,000, are all complete 2004 3.8L V-6 models. The Bay St. George campus is currently using 12 of the engines in its AST, Heavy Equipment Service Technician and Truck and Transport Service Technician programs. Six of the engines were sent to the college’s Gander campus for use in the AST program there. Taking part in the donation are, from left, Steve Gill, first-year AST student, Marty Madore, AST instructor, Richard Dennis, President of Dennis GM, Sean Hickey, Dennis GM Branch Manager (Stephenville), Brian Foley, Associate District Administrator, Bay St. George campus, and Andrew Taylor, first-year AST advanced student. This most recent donation to the campus now brings the total dollar value of financial support by Dennis GM/GM Canada to the campus to approximately $500,000 over the past five years.
