APPLICATION LIMIT:
Applicants cannot have more than two active applications for the same academic year. If more than two applications are submitted, the application fees for the extra applications will not be refunded, and someone from admissions will be in contact with you to discuss your applications. Please note that applicants are permitted to be confirmed for only one seat (i.e. program).




The selected program is not available to apply online. There are several reasons this may occur:
  • the program has special entrance requirements
  • the program is not available for intake at the moment

  1. Applications regarding Practical Nursing:
    An admissions person will email you additional forms that will need to be completed as part of the application process.
    Applicants are required to complete and submit all documentation. Only completed applications will be considered.
  2. Applications regarding X-Ray Skills for Medical Laboratory Technologists:
    This program is not open for application as it requires working experience / recommendation from an employer.

Important Information:

No application will be considered until all of the following documents have been completed and are on file at the Campus Student Services Office.

APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT:
  1. Fully completed application form along with receipt of the application fee*. The application fee is non-refundable.
  2. Official high school transcript or high school equivalency marks (post-secondary transcript for post-diploma programs):
    1. For Newfoundland and Labrador applicants:
      • If you attended/graduated High School in Newfoundland and Labrador prior to 2020, the college can obtain a copy of your high school marks directly from the Department of Education as long as you provide your MCP number on your application.
      • If you attended/graduated High School in Newfoundland and Labrador in 2020 or later, the college can obtain a copy of your high school marks directly from the Department of Education as long as you provide your High School Student # on your application.
      • If you are presently in Level III/Grade 12 of High School in Newfoundland & Labrador and will be writing exams in June, the college can obtain a copy of your high school marks directly from the Department of Education once final marks are available, as long as you provide your High School Student # on your application.
    2. For International applicants or Canadian applicants (outside of Newfoundland and Labrador):
      For an initial review, transcripts can be uploaded to your application via Student Self Service once your CNA account has been setup. Details on accessing self-service will be emailed to you once your submitted application is processed.
      Official/certified transcripts must also be provided to CNA using one of the following methods:
      • A notarized hard-copy sent directly from the applicant, via mail or courier (documents may be notarized by: Bank, Lawyer, Notary Public, Paralegal, or Embassy).
      • An emailed copy from the applicant that can be verified online (eg: WAEC scores).
      • An emailed or mailed copy sent directly from the institution/school attended.
      • An original from the applicant sent to:

  3. Proof of English Language:
    If English is not your first language, English proficiency scores (if required) can be uploaded to your application via Student Self Service once your CNA account has been setup.   4. Receipt of Program-specific documents (e.g. driver's license, portfolios, medical forms etc):
    Some programs at CNA may require additional documentation to be provided at the application or acceptance stage as listed under our Program Guide. Documents can be uploaded to your application via Student Self Service once your CNA account has been setup.

* Payment of the application fee will be required at the end of the online application process. Please have your credit card ready.
The fee is $30 CDN for Canadian applicants and $100 CDN for International applicants. Your online application will be deleted if payment is not made at this time.

The Online Application for Admission does not accept applications for "Advanced Standing" at this time; however, this component will be added at a later date.
