New building materials, sophisticated infrastructure requirements and the increasing economic impact all expand the duties of the facility operator and make the role more demanding. Qualified Power Engineers, who are also the facility operators, must have basic knowledge of how these systems are designed. Also how adjustments to HVAC control systems affect the efficiency of human comfort systems.
