MR2300 - Marketing Research

This course introduces students to the logic of the marketing research process through examination of the various techniques, principles, skills, and activities required to create and present an effective survey project.  Upon completion of the course the student will be familiar with the ways marketing information can be obtained and/or produced and how it is used to provide insight into markets, customers, products, and business strategies for business decision making purposes. Students will have the opportunity to apply various research techniques and practices using case studies and application assignments culminating in the preparation and presentation of a research report.
