FW1140 - Field Placement II

This field related course is designed to assist students in obtaining additional occupational experience at the supervisory / management level, working with a supervisor or manager. This course is a six-week field placement for students pursuing a Tourism & Hospitality Management Diploma. The purpose is to provide students the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills acquired in year two to a position in the tourism sector.  
 
The supervising program instructors will assist students in securing a suitable and approved placement. The instructors will evaluate the student’s progress in conjunction with the field placement supervisor/manager. Arrangements and expenses for transportation, lodging, and meals are the sole responsibility of the student.

Prerequisite(s): TR2100, AC1100, TR2105, PS2340, TR2110, TR2115, TR2200, HN1230, TR2205, TR2210, TR2215, TR2220
