CP2035 - Applied Data Analytics

This course centers on the application of data analytics to real-world situations. Students will be guided to build several end-to-end projects where they will be given a data set and a problem statement. They will learn how to collect, clean, transform, analyze, and visualize data using appropriate tools and programming languages. Completing projects that cross all sectors, students will complete at least one project with unstructured data and at least one project will deal with data related to the healthcare sector.
 
Additionally, the course will teach students how to communicate their insights and findings effectively to stakeholders. This will be achieved through the creation of informative and aesthetically pleasing data visualizations, reports, and dashboards.
 
An important aspect of the course will be the focus on best practices for building machine learning models. By the end of the course, students will be proficient in delivering data-driven insights that can drive positive outcomes for organizations, utilizing both their technical skills and their ability to communicate effectively.
