Twenty Music Industry and Performance and Sound Recording & Production students will continue the college’s long-standing partnerships with MusicNL by taking part in the conference, attending various sessions and performing during the All-Ages Showcase. MIP instructor Wade Pinhorn will moderate a panel on Live Performance: Engaging Your Audience, and Hammond will co-host a session The Anatomy of Production.

“We are thrilled that so many of our graduates are nominated this year,” said Pinhorn. “It really is a testimony to how effective the Music Industry and Performance and the Sound Recording & Production programs are in terms of preparing students for all aspects of the music industry. Our long-standing partnership with MusicNL plays a vital role when it comes to assisting our students with their transition from student to professional.”

Trophies will be presented to musicians during the Awards Gala on Sunday at the Corner Brook Arts and Culture Centre, where Pinhorn will be joined by Brenda Tobin, CNA’s Dean of Academics, Applied Arts and Tourism, to present one of the awards.
